Roberto Castiglioni, Director, Reduced Mobility Rights

Roberto, a distinguished aviation accessibility consultant at EasyJet Assisted Travel Advisory Board and a senior researcher at INCLAVI, an Erasmus+ funded project, brings over a decade of experience to his role. His primary focus is championing and advancing equal access to air travel for all. His zeal lies in transforming aviation into a more inclusive and enjoyable experience, ensuring that individuals with disabilities and reduced mobility can travel with dignity and confidence. Numerous achievements mark Roberto's professional journey. He has effectively collaborated with regulators, airports, airlines, and other stakeholders, crafting and implementing accessibility solutions that strike a balance between service excellence and cost. His contributions to policy and standards development at national and international levels, along with his leadership in advisory boards and panels, underscore his ability to navigate complex environments. In 2022, Roberto's dedication and contributions were recognised by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with the MBE, a testament to his services to aviation accessibility. His goal, one that inspires hope, is to make flying accessible to everyone, one flight at a time.
