Ms. Sokhela is a seasoned professional within the renewable energy industry. She excels in enterprise development and green skills capacity building. She has been part of the SAPVIA skills4PV working committee since 2021. She is also part of the working committee for the Just Energy Transition (JET) skilling for employment programme of the National Business Initiative (NBI). With extensive experience and a proven track record, Nonjabulo has successfully collaborated with renowned institutions such as the National Business Initiatives (NBI), Harambee, and Dorper Wind Farm in implementing Socio-economic Development and Enterprise Development Programmes. Nepoworx under her leadership was selected by the United Nations (SDG7 Youth Constituency) as one of the 98 global projects to spearhead the implementation of Just Energy Transition in Africa. She is also an ambassador for the SDG7 Youth Constituency. Through the various training institutions and assessment centers that MsSokhela leads as a CEO, she ensures that young people and women like herself do not get left behind in the Just Transition. Nonjabulo is academically accomplished, holding a Logistics Management qualification from the University of Johannesburg. She has furthered her education with a Post Graduate Certificate in Strategic Supply Chain Management from the University of London. Currently, she is pursuing her MSc in Global Energy and Climate Policy at the University of London, demonstrating her commitment to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of energy and climate policy developments.
