Steve Heape is a leading energy consultant with over a decade of experience delivering large-scale, low-carbon infrastructure projects across the NHS. He has led the technical development and implementation of landmark renewable energy schemes, including the UK’s first 100% renewably heated and deep geothermally heated hospitals. A founding member of Solar Team Great Britain and Chair of the IHEEM Sustainability Advisory Panel, Steve has played a pivotal role in shaping national healthcare sustainability strategy. He is also a senior member of the Carbon and Energy Fund team, which has supported over £800 million of energy investments across the UK public sector. Passionate about driving decarbonisation in healthcare estates, Steve brings a unique blend of strategic insight, technical knowledge, and real-world delivery experience.
