Sue is the Senior Deputy General Secretary, the trade union for professionals and specialists. Sue is responsible for the union's work on energy, defence, the environment and science and leads on equalities issues. She is a member of the TUC General Council and Executive, and leads for the General Council of energy and environment. Sue is a trustee of the LaBour Climate and Environment Forum and a member of the Government's Net Zero Council, having perviously served on the Green Jobs Taskforce. She was recently awarded an OBE in the King's birthday honours.
