Annalisa Gigante, Head of Innovation, International Airlines Group

Annalisa Gigante is Head of Innovation at International Airlines Group, focusing on technology and decarbonisation opportunities.
She serves on the boards of the Henry Royce Institute (the UK governments’s advanced materials research body), Cambridge Enterprise (Cambridge University’s technology transfer office and seed VC), and INTO University Partnerships.
After starting her career at Bain & Company, Annalisa has specialised in building innovation led businesses with global leaders in chemicals, materials, services and life sciences, and has served on the executive committee of Global 500 companies.
Her career has been the subject of two master’s theses on women leaders, and she co-authored books on innovation and board service.
She is a mentor for start-up businesses and leading technology innovators - including Brimstone that was named in Fast Company’s top 10 most innovative energy and sustainability companies in 2023.
Annalisa holds an MA hons in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from Bocconi.
