Jan Vana manages WheelTug business development with airlines, airports, navigation services, ground handling providers, and maintenance and repair organizations (MROs). A frequent presenter at industry conferences, he also manages the WheelTug agents who are tasked with signing airlines worldwide.  Prior to joining WheelTug, Jan served as a Vice Minister of Defense of the Czech Republic, and on the Board of Directors of Czech Airlines. As a pilot with the Czech AirForce he was awarded the “Master Wings” commendation, and he is a graduate (Ing.) of the Czechoslovak military academy.
