David Fasken serves as Ciena’s Head of Government Solutions for the Asia Pacific region. In this role, David is responsible for developing all facets of Ciena’s regional sales and go-to-market strategy for the government vertical. He is leading direct engagements with the public sector and collaborating with Ciena’s regional sales teams and partners to provide solutions to public customers. With Ciena, David led solution architecture and network transformation engagements for close to 15 years across the Asia Pacific region. In the last nine years, David led the technical solution engagement team for the Telstra account. Based in Melbourne, Australia, David holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science from RMIT University.
