Elrich was recently the Group CISO | Director of Security, Risk and Compliance at AMP Ltd and also held the group-wide accountability for data, enterprise architecture and financial crimes operations during his tenure. Prior, he was CISO / Head of Cyber Security at Vodafone Hutchison Australia, where he built the Cyber Defence and Response Centre (CDRC) from the ground up. 

He has served as a board member for AWM Services Pty Ltd and Australian Securities Administration Ltd.  He also serves on the advisory board of the Deakin University Executive Advisory Board for Cyber (EABC), Executive Advisory Board of the Australian Information Security Association (AISA), was an industry advisor to CyRise - Australia Cyber Security Accelerator and has served as an inaugural steering committee member of the Sydney Joint Cyber Security Centre (JCSC). 

Secured a Top Global CISO award at the 2023 Cyber Defense Conference in Orlando, Florida by Cyber Defense Magazine and recognised as one of the Business of InfoSec 2022 and 2021 Global Top 100 Leaders in Information Security and a valued, long serving, and active member within the Australian CISO community and a trusted industry and board advisor.
