A certified ethical hacker, and a ISO27001 lead auditor, he is a hands on CEO. A ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ISO 45000, risk management and anti bribery auditor. Currently he is the CEO and CTO of ThIRIU Labs a technology platform for cyber SOC. As the founder and the key architect this zero trust platform, “Threat Intelligent Response Unit” is an ICU for cyber risk mitigation. It is built based on the directive by the U S government and Homeland Security with the zero trust architecture paradigm. Leading the company he has taken the platform to various markets including the Middle East, India and Asia Pacific. His focus is to provide and enhance ThIRU as a platform for rapid response to cyber warfare. The advent of AI and its application has led to significant GRC issues and throws out the old paradigms and needs new thinking to address the risks, audit and assurance practices. Working on new approaches to evolving new blended audits for GRC, controls and new technologies Dr Hungenahally is pushing for thought leadership for a new and emerging world of threats and risks.
